Who can participate?

Anyone at a beginner or intermediate level, regardless of the instrument or style they play (in fact, this can be a great first step toward exploring flamenco), who wants to develop and learn flamenco rhythms usinghandclaps. 

So if you have a family member or friend you want to rope in to cheer you on, now's your chance  .

How long does it last?

4 hours with a break in the middle.

What will we cover in theworkshop?

We’ll start with a brief introduction to time signatures (4/4, 3/4, 12, etc.), learn how to play different rhythms (tangos, bulerías, soleá, alegrías…), clapin pairs, and tap our feet to the beat. We’ll also practice together to master and develop our sense of rhythm…

(By the way, don't forget to bring your instrument.)
